Bands to play for tsinelas
October 6, 2005At least four local bands and a theater group will perform in Kahayag Café on Oct. 14 for the benefit of Tsinelas scholars in Pinamungajan and Asturias. The show is called
“Duyog.”
Yano, Tsinelas’ student volunteer group from STC and the event’s organizer, said they will use the proceeds of the show to buy school supplies for students of the two beneficiary schools.
List of performers includes the bands Sikabay, Pringols, Phylum and Missing Filemon. Also scheduled to perform is STC’s Buhilaman Theater Group. Tickets, at P45 each, are available at the gate, or one can contact Cheryl at 09264477042. Show starts at 9 p.m.
Kahayag Café is located at the old COACO building in Mabolo.
